About Impostor Syndrome

Formed through mutual connections in the Chicago area music scene, Impostor Syndrome combines raw, meaningful melodies with modern, high-gain rock grit. John McGrath began writing stripped-down acoustic demos before recruiting Ryan Stoeterau and John Boex to round out the heavy, driving rhythm section.

Our mission is to deliver an authentic sound and to create high-energy memories through powerful live performances. Open the door to our crazy little world!
